“Return to your own house, and tell what great things God has done for you.”  And he went his way and proclaimed throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.”  Luke 8:39

Rev. Banks message titled “It’s Complicated” with scripture text taken from Luke spoke on how each city and town has its homeless.  Not all of them live in tombs, but they all are out there somewhere.  At times we don’t know what to do to help them.  I believe we should be more aware and if nothing else pray for them.

I was reading in our church history that in 1987 Pastor Michael Proctor at the Methodist Church organized a group from local churches to create Rains County Good Samaritans.  It has been 45 years and Good Samaritans has fed and clothes so many in Rains County.  What a great organization.

Prayers for Tommy Waters, Tommy Shed, Ann Brown.

Happy Birthday to Judith Rodes Johnson.

Have a great summer and go swimming and stay cool.
