“But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”   Matthew 14:27

Rev. Banks wrapped up his series Infinite possibilities with message titled Do Not Be Afraid.  The scripture text taken from Matthew.  When bad things happen, we stop, but life doesn’t.  Do not be afraid, keep your eyes on Jesus for He is always present.

We had a pot luck fellowship meal after worship and as always the food was wonderful.

This coming week we go to the nursing home and visit with the wonderful folks there.

Looking ahead:
Kids Club after school program starts September 7th at 3:30 to 5:00 pm.
Friday 9th at 6:00 pm Game night with hot dogs and other goodies.  All are invited.

Prayers for Thomas Alexander family, Wanda Yarbrough, Nicky Kraft, Heather Powell.

Happy birthday to Ryan Banks, Jerryle Morrow and Glenda Harder.

This world is broken, but God is not. Have a peaceful week.

Have a great week.
